Aquarium Field Trip

About two weeks ago I went to the aquarium it was a great experience. I saw sharks, hippos, birds, penguins, seals. It was magnificant I felt like I was at the beach. Alos, i got to touch baby sharks there skin is very slimy and soft. When i went to go see the seals they looked like rubber it was funny. I could not even tell if it was the seal or not. What i found histerical was that the penguins where staring at the wall. I learned that sea horses are extremely small. I though they where the size of fish but there not. Another thing I learned was that jelly fish can only sting you with there legs. so if you touch a jelly fish on the top it wont sting you. I found that pretty cool. All in all, i learned and experienced many incredible thing on my field trip to the aquarium

When Frog Gender Flips

Frogs that are male acting like female frogs that sounds impossible doesn't it. Well its true a California college students was in the lab and saw thaqt the frogs where acting different. For the next few days his boss told him to observe the frogs. The students observed the frogs and found out that something in the water was making them change. What I dont understand is how water makes something change what it does. How does everything happen to animals and nothing happens to humans.

How Child Soldiers has to do with Math

Child soldiers are decreasing every single say. The precentage of boys is 60% and the percentage of girls is 40% if child soldiers continues to happen their will be 15% in the next 20 to 30 years. Which shows that the population is going to decrease a huge amount and it will stay that way. Also, there are 300,000 child soldiers if the older soldiers keeps treating the children like this there will be 5,000 child soldiers. Which is a 295,000 difference and that is a whole lot. That is how child soldiers has to do with math it shows that the population will decrease.

Wonderful Glorious Goop

We did a lab this week in science it was a plasticity lab. We had to find out if the goop was a liquid or a solid. My hypothesis was that If the solution is measured properly we will find out if the goop is a liquid or a solid. The materials we used in this lab were goop and me. At the end of the lab I found out that it is a liquid and a solid. Its a liquid and a solid because when there is not a lot of heat it turns into a liquid. When it gets a lot of heat it turns into a solid. This lab was very fun because we got to pay around with goop and it was all slimy and sticky. Also, I learned that anything has to be a liquid or a solid.

World’s largest lizard is venomous too

Komodo Dragons are very dangerous and can be as heavy as two or three 8th graders. I would have to say that is very big. Also, they can grow up to 10 feet which is very huge. As soon as the Komodo Dragon bites you you will go into shock immediately because you would get a lot of venom in your body that your blood would stop. People say that is the most fiered animal alive. I believe that I is because it is huge and has huge mouth with venom that can kill you instantly. Also, if I came face to face with a Komodo Dragon I would probally just pray and hope that get into heaven because it would outrun you and you would be shocked and not be able to move.
